Just what I needed to fix my "traffic lights never go off " problem.
Used on a 2002 Toyota Corolla that recently/suddenly had a permanent brake light. This part is located on the brake pedal shaft, which when released presses a switch that turns off the brake lights. This is a plastic part that has broken over time. This way the switch is never pressed and turns off the brake lights. The part is hard to find but easy to replace once the location of the previous part is found.
