Part load power outage

I'll go into detail below, but we've experienced frequent power outages when operating a small microwave oven or heating up the laser printer or printing. A pure 24v sine wave inverter but in my experience make sure you have enough power for your needs. I bought this 1.5kW inverter and separate 24V charger to temporarily replace our 3kW inverter/charger which needed service. I increased the power by 3kW to have our generator charge the batteries and feed the loads through the inverter at the same time. Our typical workload is less than 300W. When I added the microwave, the load meter only showed 1.3kW, but after a few minutes the inverter turned off. When we turned on the laser printer, I could see power spikes of up to 600 watts, although I doubt it. The measuring device can display these parameters so precisely that of course it must not exceed the nominal power of 3kW. But the inverter still lost power from time to time. This happened regardless of whether I was running the alternator to charge the batteries or not, so it wasn't a low DC voltage issue.
