Opening not stretchy
IF you are able to put them on, these do the job! I felt very stable walking around and in the pool, but it was a struggle to get the shoes on, and my feet and ankles are not chubby. The opening is not elastic so is not easy to pull the back up over the heel. I ended up making a little cut on the edge to get them on, then gave them away to my 11 yr old granddaughter who wears a 1/2 size smaller than me.NOT for people with large ankles or chubby feet.
