Review on ๐Ÿคฟ Cressi Adult Snorkeling Full Foot Pocket Fins: Italian-Made Light Fin with Superior Thrust - Rondinella by Ronald Ingram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I forgot I was even wearing them!

Let me start by saying that I have very picky feet. I find it difficult to be comfortable in almost anything my feet wear, but the rubber boot on these fins is stretchy enough to be snug enough for good power transfer, yet flexible enough to conform to your foot. I agree with others, be sure to go one size smaller than your "street shoes". Aside from the boat, I liked the design of the fins. Activating them slowly requires very little energy to hold your breath longer, but when you need a speed boost, they respond very well to more power. My wife and I used them on a trip to the Caribbean where we snorkeled about 2 hours a day. On our previous trip we've both used adjustable fins (US Diver) and they were fine, but it wasn't until after we used them that we immediately saw the benefit. Adjustables always have a bit of "play" in the toe box, so you sacrifice some efficiency, not to mention additional points of friction and friction and the need to constantly adjust. With these Cressi, your foot doesn't move relative to the shoe, so there are no friction points and high performance - at least for me (and my wife). Make sure you buy from a buyer who accepts returns if you need a different size. Try them in wet water and remember that they feel a little looser in salt water than in fresh water (is that right or was that what I thought?). In any case, the tighter the better, the rubber stretches.
