Dealer would not recommend using this dope
Having lost one of my car keys I was very excited at the prospect of getting a slightly cheaper replacement key than the dealer. When I took the key to the dealer I was told that these keys were often programmed incorrectly, if not at all, and that if I decided to program them and they didn't work I would still have to pay the programming cost. I decided to come back and get on with the real deal. If you can find a handyman/locksmith/car dealer who can guarantee you success with a key, I see no reason not to buy that key.
