I was a little disappointed when I took the key to a car dealership for coding, but it didn't work. Cut to open the door but I can't start the car.

Had to be cut and programmed by a professional, but still cheaper than going to the dealer. The whole process took 30 to 45 minutes and is very difficult for the average person without proper tools and computers.

The doors could not be locked and unlocked. While the programmer could turn it on to start the car, I already had a key that could do that. That means I spent $50 on programming, along with the cost of a programming key that I didn't need.

Revain recommended and said it would fit my 2018 Tacoma. Vain. spent over 2 hours in the lock shop to program. I would not recommend buying new car keys as the lock company says only 20% of them work. Revane is great in his comeback.

I had to take it to the dealer who at first wasn't sure if he could program it but he could program it. I have to hit the button a few more times to open the rear doors, but it's better than paying the $300 the dealer wanted to buy and then programming it. Worth a try, the price is right.

Apparently the dongle was missing a transponder chip. The locksmith came, cut and programmed the key. He programmed the transponder, but the key wouldn't start the car. So the locksmith had a key that he programmed into the transponder and cut out the key to manually open the doors and turn on the ignition. We then programmed the key I ordered to remotely control the doors.

Having lost one of my car keys I was very excited at the prospect of getting a slightly cheaper replacement key than the dealer. When I took the key to the dealer I was told that these keys were often programmed incorrectly, if not at all, and that if I decided to program them and they didn't work I would still have to pay the programming cost.
