This product will automatically turn off outlets permanently without warning at an UNKNOWN time (defined as "when surge protection expiresโ). The AMAZON listing says "Expires", but instead of "Surge protection expires" it says "Of course protection expired". I had never heard of surge protector expiration and (due to a typo) didn't understand the expiration message until I received my order and read the label on the back of the product. I could accept an indicator to show if the surge protector is actually working. In this case my device will continue to have power and I will take responsibility for monitoring or ignoring the display. I do not accept or agree to pay for another device that cannot perform essential functions without a warning or alarm event. They don't even explain what "flow" is. Has time passed? Are those bad capacitors? Is this an overload event? Or does the manufacturer require me to pay for another order? This product will be returned.
