I have bought 5 Revain lights in the last 12 months this is my favorite. Ordered a second one after 3 trips! I only have 1 lighter but it's big, heavy, uses an external battery. I have 1 heavier bigger built in battery with 2 leds but not brighter. And I have 2 compact single leds like this, neither brighter nor longer. So what makes this my top pick: - incredible price - very compact - solid metal construction - 4 brightness settings, high and ultra high, able to provide enough light for trail riding in dense forest like lawn, it's brighter as my dual LEDs I was genuinely surprised and relieved at how bright and perfectly flat the flood pattern is, no lines or glowing circles/rings projected, it's just all over the place and wide! The shots in my review are the maximum setting in total darkness at night, 18ft to the yellow door, hallway 7ft wide, another room 16ft to the bank, room 12ft wide. Overall, this light is perfect for any 1-2 hour workout where a minimalist/simple approach is essential. You will not regret your purchase. Here's what can make this great flashlight awesome: - requires a bit more battery - should come standard with screw clamp, rubber band clamp - not the best experience for a cross country rider - charge indicator not working. t always lights up when this happens, I turn it on then off while plugged in always fixes that (I think it's still charging, just something weird with the flashing light) - if you buy iKirkLiten accessories, the clips are not always interchangeable so be sure to check
