Just what I needed to raise my shower head without major cracks. Bought another house and realized the builder wasn't as tall as me (6'1"). This unit is well made and very well designed. I recommend using pipe grease over teflon tape but that's it just my standard. practical advice. The metal fittings are well made, the right size and seal well with the standard hose seals provided (thread seals may not be required). Both ends fit standard 1/2" NPT tubing; threads directly into the existing outer tube.One end is male, the other has an adapter to go either way.The corner clamps seem secure, although I can't comment on how well they work with a heavy (high boom load) shower head .Easy installation.Can't rate durability as I've just bought it but I'm sure it will last a long time.I ordered the color gold.The color v on Revain in the photo is correct.
