Wow*** that thing was hard to put together. No instructions were mentioned in other reviews, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I'm talking about the strength required to join these pieces together. and when I finally got the frame together I realized that the wire/cable had to be put on before full assembly. It's physically impossible for me to parse it back, so I just looped them because I had no other choice. On the plus side, it definitely doesn't fall apart considering how tightly the pieces are put together. and especially agree with my cats. but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how painful it would be to assemble. UPDATE: This hammock is still sturdy after my cats dived in from a tall scratching post for 4 months, all 3rd get in together and one of them literally hangs onto it for fun. I work from home and it's between my computer and the window so they bother me less because they're so happy in the window. Sucking has never failed. To be honest I'll probably buy a second one as they don't like to share.
