I like everything about these lamps except one thing, what they are for. Creating a variety of lighting effects. The software in the app that powers it is impressive and straightforward, with plenty of room to explore. Perfomance; however problematic. The color rendering is zero subtle. It claims to give you many color nuance options, but in reality the device just produces clumsy images of colors and color combinations. I'm assuming the quality of the LEDs is the reason as it's obvious the software design was top notch. Too bad the actual hardware (LEDs in this case) is so bad. But overall I'm glad I have them. Alexa controls the on/off and foreground color, but I couldn't make it darker or lighter. For some reason the music interface only works on half of the set. I don't know if that's a bug or what, but half the indicators never light up during music syncing. It's a cool feature and I'll still use it as is.
