I bought them to fence near the pool. You would assume they will if they claim to be waterproof. The plug is not waterproof and is only mentioned in the instructions. Seems very misleading Govee! Now I have to account for the closed box to keep it dry which only adds to the overall cost.

There were no reviews at the time of purchase. I decided to try and get her. I installed them and I have to say they are really good and exactly as described. The colors are vibrant, there are plenty of options to control their appearance, and they can also be controlled from your phone over WiFi.

Not bad, just good. If you ask me if I would buy them again, I would probably say no. There's nothing wrong with them. Pretty good, not great, but who knows, I might buy another set to complement them. Update: So while they are "streetlamps" they are not really. The switch for 'inside' contacted the company as they don't turn on even after rain. They reacted promptly, but got wet again. It does not work. ALWAYS DON'T BUY as you see in the trash 🤷🏼‍♂️😠

Wow. I don't really like writing reviews, a lot has already been said. Although these lights? You deserve every review and more. Easy setup, wide variety of scenes, very easy setup and controls, and much brighter than I expected. I ordered two threads and connected them together, but only one thread worked at first. However, after connecting them to the application, you can specify that they are two connected threads that work immediately. 10/10 would buy again.

It has been about a month since I bought and used these lights and they are by far the best lights I have ever owned. The people complaining about the brightness clearly spent 0 time learning how to use these lights in the app. Do yourself a favor and do it first. My neighbor bought and installed some patio lights and I decided to light my patio too.
