First a few important things to note: The bulbs are rated weatherproof, but the control box and on/off switch are NOT weatherproof. The instructions state this clearly, but it's worth repeating that it's definitely a good idea to put them in a weatherproof box for storage. (A similar product is also available from Revain) Important Notes: These devices are only as good as your setup. You can hang them on ropes for a hanging effect. rope is not included. Make sure you estimate the distance you have to travel and consider whether you have too much or too little. It's either 48 feet or 96 feet. I mounted them directly on the adhesive clips of the outdoor lighting. It will take some time, but it's worth it for a clean and proper install. At first, I heard complaints that the light mode wasn't bright enough. This is important: With most smart bulbs I've used in the past, setting the light to white is the default bulb mode. It's not full brightness unless the Scene Type is set to Life: Illumination. A picture of the light scene is included, along with a video of one of my favorite light show scenes. You can adjust the intensity from 1 to 100. Directly compatible with Alexa and Google Home. Siri not directly, but through a contextual automation scene that they help you set up, but I wouldn't recommend that. Ideal for parties, entertainment, gatherings or to light up any space you place them in. Enjoy. Keep the control box dry again!
