VTech DX2 Kids Smartwatch

My regular smartwatch died waiting for an app update. I decided to buy this kids watch to try as a gift for my friends kids. Doesn't disappoint! There are games, memo notes, colorful time frames, but I don't use anything. There is an excellent pedometer, a 0.3 MB camera (VGA): both a selfie and a side camera (see photo). The camera holds up to 100 multiple grain photos. However, on the right side is the camera exposure button and charging port. Connect to a computer and the images are less grainy than on your watch. There's no Bluetooth or WiFi, it's an independent watch and no phone calls. It's great as a toy, I've had it for five days and charged it once. No six-day photo and video shoots (even grainy). The alarm clock is loud and there is variable volume for all functions. Four stars because the watch strap made my skin itch. I covered it with plastic wrap to stop itching. RECOMMENDED: Buy it as the first smartwatch for a child aged 4+ or gadget person. UPDATE 9/24/2020 I still wear the watch as a backup to my regular smartwatch. It only needs to be charged once almost every four weeks. I use the timekeeping function, camera/camcorder, voice memos and some related items. Definitely a buy!
