The only reason it stuck to the 2" Jeep Trail Rating Badge was because I had heated the tape and metal before applying it and it was so hot that I Had to wear leather gloves to attach and press against it for more than a minute. I tried the same method on a molding that runs the length of all 4 doors on a 2007 Jeep Liberty. Until I heated up the metal and tape from one or both, cooled and held in place after 1 minute. I took 2 steps and it fell off, taped it in place and it became covered in dust and became the first of several balls before throwing the rest away. I used a lot of body molding tape and this was way worse! Others say it worked for them, okay, but for how long? Before you know all this, fire me for someone who did little to no prep work, shit! I cleaned the paint with bug and tar remover and when that didn't work I started over and added a sticky cloth to the process to give the situation a little stickiness and the wood shavings still fell off!
