I haven't had the factory fairing since I replaced it with a Tuffy shell which fell off and covered my factory navigation system and closed. Now I was replacing an outdated factory head unit and no longer needed the Tuffy system so I bought this Daystar panel. The installation is very easy. At least if it fits. I had to modify the top of my Jeep's front panel to fit this panel. When I tried to install it, the back of the panel refused to snap into place. This was because the front edge of the fairing is too thin or the top of my jeep's front panel where the front edge of the fairing hooks is too thick. . I ended up having to cut a piece off the top of the bezel to ease the tension and allow the back of the bezel to snap into place. I didn't like doing it, but at least the cut is hidden under the panel. I installed the bezel but it sticks out a bit and interferes with my new head unit's 10-inch floating screen. I feel another mod in my future to properly fit the head unit.
