This tripod is extremely versatile but the downside of this device is that it is not completely stable as it allows for vibrations. This vibration is a side effect of versatility. So you have to balance that against your goal. It meets 98% of my needs as I don't use slow shutter speeds very often and when I do I can still use my tripod in a more stable configuration. I really like the markings and the locks on the legs. This tripod is very well made and should last me a very long time. It's not too bulky for travel but longer than regular travel pods. Also came with a good carry case. Very happy with it.
