See update at the end of the test. When I first got the device, I had to make countless offerings to the Buddha and a multitude of deities just to set up the damn thing to work with my simple devices consisting of a Samsung TV, Spectrum cable box, Roku and Sony sound. Bar - yes it is. No special or complex requirements. All I have to do is watch cable TV, watch ROKU channels, and get sounds from my Sony soundbar. After the initial setup, everything worked perfectly for 3 months. Then suddenly the remote forgot how to turn things on and make the right decisions using the hotkeys or the OSD. So I connected it to my computer to sync the settings again. But Logitech deftly deleted my account and refused to recognize my old login. I've been asked to create a new account for Logitech's New Improved Unified LOGI LOGIN, which requires a new account setup. The new account has no storage space on my Harmony device. You need to set up the remote from scratch. a way to load device definitions that already exist on the remote device - no, that would be too easy. what settings to restore all the work that was previously done. After that was done, I found that the remote had a small dent - these are just some of the adjustments required to watch ROKU. I need to go to the device menu on the remote and get the TV to switch to the correct HDMI setting. It was a simple matter that the remote forgot how to do it and I just wanted to remind them by grabbing the saved settings from the MyHarmony app and syncing them again. Logitech suggests that wasting hours of its customers' time is perfectly normal; They think it's perfectly fine to scam existing customers just to add a useless 'feature' to their software. All they had to do was let me use my old login and keep my old saved settings, but they don't. UPDATE: THIS DEVICE IS OFFICIALLY DEAD AND CANNOT BE RECOVERED AFTER ONLY 9 MONTHS. I've tried re-syncing it with my saved settings from the Harmony app, but when I press a function button like "watch TV," the remote just restarts, shows the Logitech logo, and then goes blank. None of my devices respond to it. So I threw $80 down the toilet. I will never buy Logitech products again.
