So far I like it very much!

So far, so good! I've only been using it for a few weeks, but I use it almost every day. It doesn't slip and keeps my saddle in place and also serves as a good pad for my pony. It doesn't need a riser or correction pad, so I've got the full thickness. I use it with my close contact (sp?) Marcel Toulouse 16.5 Anise saddle. It's a bit long on the sides but I don't want to cut it off so that's fine with me. I just did a tutorial show with a contour pad that I've only used once (must have good performance pads! LOL) and I decided to put the gel pad directly on the horse with the pad on top to "hide" that. extra black gel under my saddle. Everything worked fine on my fast day prior to my test ride with this setting, but the next day after a 3 hour very sweaty session the gel pad did not come off my horse's back, the pad eventually came loose. under the back of my saddle and the panel slid forward a little. So I recommend using it over the pad as described in the description. So far it's holding up very well with no slipping. I accidentally dropped it in my bedding and as others have mentioned it's quite sticky so it picks up hair, shavings etc. I just dipped mine in a bucket of soap while bathing my horse and it came out clean and I put it on it has air dried and feels like I took it back out of the box. I've already had quite a few compliments from the people in my stable and now they want one ;-) I've told them where to go! Edited after reading, forgot to mention if my saddle indicated I was riding a hunting seat. Florida. ;-)
