Managed to only use one statue but overall satisfied.
Bought Easter Island heads. Apparently there are reviews of various products on this list. When I received them, there was a fairly strong odor emanating from a small piece. When I started cleaning them I found that the resin on the front of the smaller one was very thin and cracked with light pressure, while the resin inside was soft. I think that was the reason for the chemical smell. However, the big one was ok, so given the low price I decided to just throw away the smaller one. The big head looks great in my 20 gallon tank so overall I'm happy with it. We drilled small holes in the back to prevent bacteria from building up inside.
