I bought Hiware forks and longer teaspoons because we liked the simple design. We're happy with that BUT this "tablespoon" bowl is barely larger than a teaspoon (you have to look VERY closely - it only pops out 1-2 millimeters at a time. Length maybe 1/2". more The capacity of this Tablespoon is probably 1 1/2 teaspoons I'm used to this type of spoon holding a full tablespoon (apologies for the imperfect position of the ruler but you can see there is a very small difference - 1/16" UPDATE : Other reviews claim this tablespoon is "bigger than a teaspoon", "like a tablespoon", but please see my photos. I promise I don't smoke!, I smell a conspiracy. Both Hiware spoon, the left one is a long teaspoon and the right one is a tablespoon, I measured the widest part of the teaspoon 1 3/8" and the width of the tablespoon is only 1/16" wider (1 7/16" ").
