Review on 🎡 GPO Brooklyn Portable Boombox - CD Player, Cassette Player, FM Radio, USB, Bluetooth Speaker - 1980s Style - Black by Mark Harrison

A brand new boombox with no hassles ***FIX: SEE BELOW***

This radio makes a lot more sense than buying one from the 80's and rebuilding it. The sound is very good, CD and cassette players work without problems and it looks neat. The colors on the gauges are a very odd choice, but I decided against it. I have a couple of old ghetto blasters, but they are awkward to use and drain the batteries too quickly. This radio comes with its own rechargeable kit and more are likely to become available. Early models drained the battery quickly when the device wasn't used and while there's still some power, it's not at all like the early models. Check out the features and convenience of this radio before spending money on repairing an old radio, you will see it makes a lot more sense. The speakers could use a bit more power but they sound great and sound good for most rooms, indoors or out. *** REVISION 4/19/20 This radio has only been used a handful of times in the 5 months I've had it and there have been many problems! AM radio is just static, FM is very difficult to tune in, volume, base, treble and balance just stop working from time to time. TAPE & CD The volume is very low even after full charge! I own and use many radios and have bought 8 of them from Revain in the last 2 years alone. This one cost me $260 so it has 2 years of Asurion insurance and I'm glad I have it but the phones are now off in most places and I have to wait to send it in for service. Music is very important to me so I really hope they can repair, replace or return this unit! The radios I've bought (from Revain) for half that price easily outperform this GPO BOOMBOX and they are reliable. THEY WORK EVERY TIME BUT GPO BECAME A REAL PROBLEM! I NEVER KNOW WHAT I EXPECT FROM THIS NEXT!***
