Why so many rave reviews? These chains are not strong at all. After installing them on the car, we drove about a kilometer and one of the links broke. We had to replace it with the supplied plug (which is weaker than the original link). Then it happened again. Then again and again until we run out of extra links. Original chains are very fragile compared to standard chains. Useless. I bought them because they looked easier to install and didn't make that much noise, but in the end it didn't matter because the construction (the most important factor in chains) was poor quality.
