I use it to cover my wrist for my mouse. The skin touching the table became too thin and sensitive, I needed something to ease the friction until it healed. It works for several days when I had to use it. However, I wasn't supposed to use the elastic strap that was attached to it for ease of donning. The strap was too tight and digging into the skin too much for such a small area that it could block blood flow in the hand that was meant to heal. So I just clipped it off the outside of my wrist and everything works fine. As most reviewers say, velcro is a type of industrial velcro. It was very strong and difficult to remove. Before I bought this I used an elastic that was too long to cover my wrist. It took ages and it was too thick and also pressed too hard into my skin. When I bought it I was hoping that it would be easy to put on and take off. One point only because the loop is too tight and the Velcro is too strong. Plus it works and my wrist has since healed and no longer needed it.
