I've been looking for a vegan protein powder that I like for a long time. I've tried most of the well-known brands (Vega, Garden of Life, Jarrow, etc.) and have never been able to stick with them for long. I like to have a protein shake before bed or after a workout and I don't want it to be high in calories. To most supplements I've used in the past, I would have had to add a lot of supplements to get the right flavor and then the calories would be too high for my wants and needs. Everything is different at Nuzest chocolate. All I have to do is add unsweetened almond milk and cocoa powder and that's it. It's quite tasty, not very sweet, and since it doesn't contain stevia, there's no nasty aftertaste. Aside from that, I add 2 cups of almond milk to 1 serving of protein powder. I've found less than that and it's too thick and the texture is difficult to manage. Even without the addition of cocoa powder I miss the chocolate flavor but I love dark chocolate so there it is. Last but not least, I really recommend this protein powder if you've been looking for a stevia-free vegan powder that tastes decent with additives. Unfortunately it is too expensive for me to buy it often. I understand why the price is so high, it's really high quality protein, easy to dissolve, no bloat, decent taste, but I wish it was a little more affordable.
