I received this cable yesterday and have already been using the Oculus Link app and playing games. MUCH cheaper than using the brand name. I ran a compatibility check when launching the app and it showed that the cable runs smoothly, so I have no reason to think there will be any performance issues in the future. Also the second photo only shows the stiffness of the cable. It's perfectly normal, but my goodness, that thing is almost like rope from the hardware store. At least I don't have to worry about our Eufy (Roomba's neighbor robot) destroying it when I inevitably miss it.
