I bought these for two reasons: 1) they have a rubber backing instead of the ethylene foam found on other grip pads and 2) they were cheaper than similar tires. pads You didn't disappoint us. The felt layer is thick and feels durable, and the rubber layer, while thin, provides a good grip on pieces of furniture that I didn't want to slip. They're on my big worktable, and if you push the table from above, it tips over before it can slide down. The complaint about this is that the felt layer is too thick for what I need - it provides extra protection but more than I need and makes it difficult to cut the pads into smaller pieces. But that's a minor annoyance.
