Review on Dell S2316M 23-inch Widescreen Backlight Monitor, 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Wide Screen, HD by Calvin Junior

Works great and works well with a MiniDisplayPort/Thunderbolt DVI cable connected to an old Macbook Pro. Reviews for its predecessor, the S2340M, were that it was fantastic, albeit prone to failure due to dismal and even fraudulent support from Dell. I opted for the newer version hoping that Dell would fix the inherent flaws without sacrificing quality. I am very happy with the resolution and the colors. The movies are fantastic and the size is perfect. I'll update this review if it sucks. I hope not! With the MacBook Pro, I've found that the best resolution is no reflection. There is a way to arrange the displays diagonally in System Settings/Displays/Layout so that the true resolution of the S2316M is taken into account. In this diagram, drag the menu bar from the smaller display to the larger one to make the S2316M the default system screen. iMac rival! Much luck!
