When I moved I left behind a big old wet/dry vacuum that had problems - I had a small piece of metal I left with it - in order to keep the start button I had to move the small one piece of metal behind it to make it work. I bought it at a flea market so you get what you pay for right? It was also one of the old ones, big and bulky and when I was packing to take it and leave it was given to my neighbor. I missed the shop vacuum as it comes in handy quite often. This one is a lot smaller than my old one but works a lot better! The suction power of a wet/dry vacuum cleaner is significantly higher than that of a conventional vacuum cleaner. I'm happy with how it picks up hair, other dirt and debris and because it's smaller it's easier to store.
