I have carefully researched what food we should feed our Maltese puppy as an adult and have read amazing reviews of this brand and I am not saying it is a bad product but it is not suitable for a Maltese. His tears were beginning to stain his eyes in a way that had never happened before and he was producing more tears than usual and the smell of his tears literally smelled like dirty sour socks. We felt terrible! We spoke to the vet and he said it just wasn't the right product for Maltese.
