🐶 Nulo Frontrunner Small Breed Dog Food - Turkey, Whitefish & Quinoa Recipe Kibble for Puppies and Adults Review

Two of my Yorkies are not Chow Hounds and have many food allergies. Decided to try this food as it was supposed to be easy on the digestive system. They seem to enjoy it more than any other food I've tried and there is no sign of allergies as it has been their staple diet for many months. I also love that the bag has a velcro closure! I would give it 5 stars if they ate it but maybe they are just rodents.

I have carefully researched what food we should feed our Maltese puppy as an adult and have read amazing reviews of this brand and I am not saying it is a bad product but it is not suitable for a Maltese. His tears were beginning to stain his eyes in a way that had never happened before and he was producing more tears than usual and the smell of his tears literally smelled like dirty sour socks. We felt terrible! We spoke to the vet and he said it just wasn't the right product for Maltese.

I am changing puppy food and after seeing the good reviews I decided to give Nulo a try. I don't know if the problem was just with my pup or what. It's 2 years old and we're very lucky with Orijen, so we can just stick with that brand. The whole time I was using Nulo he had very soft stools and one day he had a very bad accident at home. I have been using this brand on and off for several years. I first met him while living in Austin and the owner sold him in boutique pet shops. It's great food and I think I'm pleased that the owner is selling his business so Revane and others can sell it around the world. I just hope the quality standards never go down as this is a publicly traded company. It has a 5 star rating on the dogfoodadvisory website (which I use for all dog food I buy). Just wanted to point out one of the reviews. This product contains neither corn nor soy. Also, dogs and cats need roughage that they don't get from processed pet foods, so they eat grass. It doesn't matter how many vegetables are in the wet food. There is no evidence that grains are harmful to pets. You need grains to prevent blindness and for heart health. Don't teach your pet petty and fashionable human prejudices or dietary restrictions. It is better to provide your pet with a varied diet…
