After my local computer store recommended this particular card to me, I bought two Fenvi Dual Band Wireless-AC cards based on the Intel 9260 WiFi/Bluetooth chipset to upgrade my older but updated Intel AC Wireless Cards AC 7260 to replace Mini-Card (with Bluetooth) in my Dell XPS 8700 computer. It works great with native Intel drivers - no additional software or other drivers required! All I had to do to install the newer WiFi card with Fenvi AC 9260 PCIE slot on my and my wife's computers was (in order): 1. Make sure the Intel WiFi and Bluetooth -Drivers on my computer with Intel have been updated to the latest versions Driver Support Wizard.2. Using Windows 10 Device Manager, remove the old Intel AC Wireless AC 7260.3 card. Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord.4. Remove the old Intel AC Wireless AC 7260 Mini-Card (with Bluetooth) from the computer's half-height mini-slot5. Turn on the computer6. After a reboot I had to reconnect to my preferred SSID and re-enter the SSID password. After following the steps above, the frequent WiFi disconnects associated with our previous Intel Wireless AC 7260 card (which Intel more or less abandoned) seem to go away, the WiFi signal strength on our computers is much better, our WiFi - speed is significantly higher. Bluetooth works the same as before with no extra steps, and in the future we can take advantage of automatic Wi-Fi and Bluetooth updates with the Intel Driver and Support Assistant. !I am very happy with the Fenvi Wireless-AC 9260 and would highly recommend it to Dell XPS 8700 owners and any other desktop computer who are considering replacing their old half-height mini Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo card with a standard Replace PCIE -based card. !
