Well it works but it's tricky to put on and feels a little flimsy but so far so good and it beats the range of much larger replacement zips . It took me probably a good 10 minutes to attach this thing to the front zip of my reversible Columbia pants. It's so small and you have to be careful to unroll the circle of coiled wire just enough to insert it into the zipper without kinking the wire and... Well, after 10 minutes I finally have it with a little kitchen knife made. No blood, no lost fingertips, but lots of careful manoeuvres. Once installed it seems like it breaks every time I use it, but so far it's worked really well so it might just be a perception thing on my part. And as I mentioned above, it's certainly less bulky and less noticeable compared to the much larger zips from other vendors. I deducted 1 star for the difficult installation.
