I bought my HP 4200c in 2007. It came free with my first Macbook Pro. This printer is a MACHINE! It scans, copies and prints. Crashes happen from time to time, but the best part about owning a very old printer is the reduction in the price of ink. Let's face it, printers are actually a subscription to ink. Supplies are sold at a loss and ink is too expensive! The great thing is that you can buy counterfeit cartridges on ebay for $5 each. You can also try refilling original cartridges with ink, which works about 75% of the time. They are good, reliable but still overpriced. They must be sold at 60% of that price.
