This product may appear unfamiliar to US consumers. If that particular brand is better known in Latin America and therefore seems unknown outside of that demographic. But don't be fooled by the fact that its performance is comparable to similar models at a lower price. We bet you're now wondering what's inside this device. Most budget SSDs use SMI, Phison, or even Maxio as the controller, but this model uses Asolid. Asolid is better known for its SD card controllers. But they have an AS2558 SSD controller. On par with other controllers in this price range in terms of performance, so nothing exceptional. All in all a good product, nothing special but for a budget SSD to speed up an old system it works fine.
