Review on Stay Prepared with FosPower 4000mAh NOAA Emergency Weather Radio (Model D2) by Michael Jenkins

Would be nice but doesn't do what it's advertised to do. The weather alert function does not work. Both the original radio and the replacement radio will switch the weather band channel when the AL button is pressed (the AL button is the weather alert silent listening function). On both radio channels, the channel changes to 160.40wb (we need 160.55 for our region, but it doesn't matter which channel is selected before pressing AL). This radio is identical from the same manufacturer and is $20 less, except for that particular quiet listening feature. I am in the process of returning both the original and replacement radios. All other features work great and I'm very disappointed that this feature doesn't work making further ownership pointless.
