My mother always told me that you can use beeswax if a zipper gets stuck. Well, the two zippers on my tote were pretty stiff and sticky, so I took her advice and gave it a try. It wasn't easy to find even a stick. But like she said it worked great and had the added benefit of the fabric being waxed around the teeth and therefore waterproof which was a plus. It *looks* like the bag is dirty because it's black and the wax looks whitish, but aesthetics are less important to me than functionality.
