Review on Geekria Skullcandy Wireless Headphone Replacement by Dee Rawls

Who cares what new ear pads! I have Phillips/O'Neill TR 55LX "Stretch" headphones that literally crumbled ear pads. Of course, Phillips no longer offers replacement pads. After measuring and checking many sizes online I found these pads and ordered them and WOW what a difference some new pads make! Before replacing the ear pads, there was noticeable bass on these headphones, but NOW the difference in sound is just amazing. The sound of these headphones is now significantly darker and fuller. I will probably give it to my wife to use as she is a "bassist" and she will definitely enjoy it more than I would like or will. Not sure if it's because the stock pads weren't memory foam or because they weren't that thick. but those ear pads definitely added to the sonic signature of these headphones. To anyone replacing the earbuds on Skullcandy headphones, I would like to warn you that these earbuds are not as "luxurious" as the OEM earbuds. I'm so glad they actually fit my Phillips/O'Neill headphones. However, it was a bit difficult for them to get there. Just take your time and take your time, that's the best advice I can give on installation.
