Review on Malco HRP4 Fencing Stapler Magazine by Marcus Hargrave

The feed channel is lightly crimped just before entering the jaws of the crimping machine. It was too narrow for the pig rings to fit through the canal. It is necessary to reduce the bend with a file to get a sufficiently smooth ring feed. I understand this is a small volume tool but for the price it should be made to better tolerances. There's also no stop when you're crimping into a "perfect triangle," so you have to be careful not to over-crimp or you'll end up with a flattened triangle (that may or may not be a bad thing, but it looks pretty ugly and the material doesn't slide through the ruffled hog ring).
