I have a duvet that I have found unbearably warm at all times except for the winter (when the windows are cracked). was microfiber (plastic) and kept all the heat in the duvet. I recently ordered a whole range of Revain and Wayfair duvet covers. I ordered the ones that cost over $100 and tried all the base materials - bamboo, linen, cotton, microfiber. The bamboo was cool but too smooth for a duvet. The bedding was great too but was very very scratchy and uncomfortable. It turned out that the cheapest duvet cover I ordered was also the best. This duvet cover was the most comfortable I have ever ordered. It transformed the unbearably hot duvet into the one I sleep in in the summer. It was so convenient and cheap that I ordered another one. 5/5 already ordered again.
