Review on DharmaObjects Tibetan Buddhist 7 Water Offering Bowls Brass 2" Diameter by Robert Abdi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty and a good size

Other reviewers have written that the bowls rusted when they used them with water and I had a similar experience, especially with one out of the 7 bowls. However, after using them for about a week and wiping it out after each use, it seems to have stopped. I've had them for a few months now and they have a sort of rusty/weathered look inside now (which is actually kind of pretty) but it doesn't discolor/contaminate the water as far as I can tell. They look very pretty on my altar.

Pros
  • Hand crafted in India By Tibetan Refugees.
Cons
  • Inexperienced users may find it difficult to use the bowls correctly, as they are intended for traditional water offerings and require specific knowledge and practice
