Review on 🎧 Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset: 7.1 Surround Sound Headphones for PC, MacOS, PS5, PS4 - Discord Certified - Carbon by Patrick Brinson

I want to start by saying that I really like this headset! But it's not perfect. Pros: Sound Quality 5/5: The sound on them, even at any maximum volume, is amazing! They sound great when listening to music, they can be compared to my audiotechnica MX-50. The directional sound in games works great and I can actually tell where the sound is coming from. 4.5/5 connection: Very reliable connection on PC and PS4. I can cover a good distance; although it does start to lose contact when going around walls but that's to be expected. - Material 5/5: I really like the feel and overall construction of this headset. The feeling is very luxurious. Cons: - Comfort 3/5: My head and ears are larger than average. Even after stretching the headset to its maximum length, I still feel uncomfortable after 1-2 hours. It doesn't hurt, but it's definitely uncomfortable. Same goes for my ears, I can feel them touching the inside of the cups and sometimes it can hurt but not always. Unfortunately (for some reason) the ear pads aren't removable, so I can't swap them out for larger ones or it will be fixed. That's not to say the headset is uncomfortable, because first of all, it definitely is. It just doesn't last. Maybe a smaller head would fit. Durability 3/5: I left this in the front pocket of my backpack with my PS4 in my back pocket overnight. The headset warped the next morning. I had to bend it back to normal, which I got almost perfectly. However, it remains slightly bent. - PC connection 4/5: I don't know if it's CUE software or something, but it always takes a while to hear the audio and hear "mic on" when you turn on the headset. Sometimes it takes a few seconds, rarely up to 15 seconds. Microphone Quality 2/5: The microphone is clear but very nasal. But I love that it's removable! The mute button is also welcome. Overall this is a great choice for a headset! Whether PC or PS4. Especially if you have an average head size and microphone quality is not an issue. Also, I see it often sells for $60-70. At this price this is a steal. I would think twice before spending $100 on it.
