Review on Toyo Custom-Grip Supercutter - High-Performance Glass Cutter - Assorted Colors (One Pack) by Heather Shaw

UPDATED REVIEW: I've had this glass cutter for 11 months now and have downgraded my rating from a 5 to a 3. I have never stored oil in any of my glass cutters because most of them leaked. I've added oil to this one because of all the great reviews I've read about this cutter. So today I used this cutter which has been my new favorite for almost a year and it fell apart in my hand. All I did was grab it and try to put some pressure on the tip. The center section (referred to as the adjustable seat) actually broke, as did part of the top of the oil reservoir where the oil cap screws on. Please see the additional images I just added for more information. Don't get me wrong, I still highly recommend this cutter, I just do NOT recommend putting oil in the oil reservoir. Keep some in a small cup and dip in. I contacted the manufacturer at 3-28-17 and they responded to me straight away. Toyo will replace this cutter free of charge. Fantastic customer service! One of my favorite glass cutters! I love how easy it is to use. It feels so light in my hand and very easy for her to cut glass. Cuts like butter! Definitely recommend this burr to anyone especially those struggling to hold large front teeth due to carpal tunnel problems or pain in fingers due to arthritis. I had carpal tunnel triggers in both hands in 2005, but I still have pain and numbness in my hand and fingers, making me unable to hold large burs well or otherwise hold other burs in my hand. This cutter works wonders for the pain I have in my hand. So glad I checked it out. Love me!
