I am writing in a state of "light shock": I just changed these tires (from winter to summer) and was surprised to notice that during the winter season 4 wheels lost _only one spike_! Tires bought in the fall. At the end of winter, they traveled about 8 thousand km. I don’t know how the manufacturer in this case managed to achieve such good results, but the fact is obvious. A thorough run-in of new tires (500 km at a speed of no more than 80 km / h) may have helped, but previously the same procedure on other tires did not give similar values. Even my own - the Finnish "Hakka" of the 5th series (which I also really liked at one time) lost much more spikes during the winter. I am silent already about NordFrost-2, which "sprinkled" by 10 percent after the first winter. For the rest of the parameters - everything is surprisingly good too. On dry asphalt goes confidently. It is clear that not like summer, but for winter - quite to itself. On snow / ice - everything is on the level. It is well rebuilt (at a "sane" speed) through the snow roll. True, and the car is heavy enough (Avensis 2.4) BUT! An important point. All these positive qualities were fully manifested only after the break-in. Before it completely passed, I was, frankly, even a little upset: it seemed that the rubber was soft, “walking”. Well, it was quite noisy. And after some time, everything "magically" fell into place (although the tires still remained a little noisy). So . be patient, colleagues, if you suddenly decide to purchase this product. In general, I decided to write a review only and exclusively because of the surprisingly resistant spikes. )))
