This socket wrench is perfect for my two vehicles where there is a risk of scratching the rim around the wheel nut holes. This socket with shell is a bit thinner than my other impact sockets. It's solid and I don't see any risk of it breaking unless the nuts are properly tightened, except. When it was delivered, the socket had a plastic insert inside. I suspect this insert was to prevent the nut from slipping back into the deep socket. However, this insert did not allow the eye nuts to fit fully into the socket on both cars I use. On a set of lug nuts, the insert only allowed about 1/4 inch of the nut to go into the bushing. This might be why some of the other reviewers had trouble picking the socket. I was able to slide this insert deeper into the socket and now the glans nuts fit properly. It took a bit of force, I think I used a hammer and an extension to push the insert deeper.
