Looks well made but definitely wouldn't call it thin walled. My 19mm deep cobalt head has a 1-2mm smaller outside diameter. And it was too big. I have a Vossen VFS-5 set and they wouldn't even fit between the base of the spoke to get in the ledge, they would fit in the hole. So if you have Vossen wheels I doubt this socket will even work with them.

I had to modify it quite a bit to adapt it to my task. The plastic bushing makes the bushing very thick and I don't know about other vehicles, maybe trucks or bigger wheels. But on my 17" wheels, the plastic didn't fit in the grooves. And then the jack didn't quite fit in the ear because of the small plastic bumper inside. But removes them and works fine for my needs.

Love this set. The only exception is that I've used some discs where the hole is small enough that you have to remove the scratch-resistant protective sleeve. Okay that's an option, the problem is that there are a couple of ribs underneath the non-scratch material that hold the non-scratch material in place and act like a grinder on the lug hole. You have to be very careful that it becomes difficult with a powerful punch.

I have a similar grommet/bolt tool for my 19 inch grommets. My recent need for a 17" eyelet led me to this product. From the moment I used it, I noticed that the red ink used for the product name and tool size is transferred to the wheel when you install or remove the eyelet. I would suggest removing this ink with alcohol or some other solvent before first use. Now I need to remove the red paint from my new rims.

Looks very high quality. It barely fits in the tight grooves in my wheels, but it works. The only problem is that if your nuts have a high crown on top, you can get into the socket from the bottom, preventing the socket from fully engaging all flat surfaces. on the mother (in full depth).
