Three different BDR discs, three different stations, ALL are written to the second layer, but the second layer/layer break cannot be checked or the data written on it is not retrieved - every time. Whatever they did to the very last batch they put out, it ruined the whole point of this product (its power!). I strongly encourage other reviewers to select "Report Incorrect Product Information". ' at the top of this product page. There is an opportunity to report on the quality of the product, because it seems that the flood of reviews does not draw anyone's attention to this topic. Other reviewers from mid to late 2019 are right. The product must be pulled. Now I'm stuck with 4 packs of 50 and refusing to check or read past the shift break and I'm out of the return window. I challenge you not to make the same mistake. EDIT: I tried these discs on the fourth burner in one of my available systems, an older LG WH10LS30 drive that has been confirmed to successfully burn 50GB BD-DL Quantum optical discs. (there was an older pack of 10 to test). The last batch of my 50 pack is reported as an 'Illegal Disc' and refuses to even start recording. Perhaps this is simply due to compatibility in the case of an older drive, but that doesn't prevent newer, confirmed supported drives from also having problems with this medium. The SS of one of the specified discs is included, and an error you'll quickly become familiar with when attempting to use these new blanks.
