Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Dell S2721D: Ultra Thin DisplayPort Certified QHD2560X1440P Monitor with 75Hz Refresh Rate, Built-In Speakers, and HD Clarity by Jim Carter

Mac designers beware: it's impossible to get a sharp image with a Macbook Pro

It's a good monitor, but no matter what I tried I couldn't get a clear picture on my Macbook Pro. Since a modern Mac only has USBC (that really sucks), I have to run it from the dock. In my experience, no matter what the dock specs say, you'll never get the best results if you have to start converting different connection types. I hooked up my old laptop via HDMI and the picture has improved somewhat but still not to the level I was expecting or advertised. There is also a discrepancy in clarity on the monitor. Some areas are slightly blurry while others are too sharp. Overall I think this could be a good monitor for basic use, however designers should look elsewhere.
