Suitable for my needs. I got this because one of my lousy mixes likes to jump forward from his travel box (which has a zip hole at the top) that I keep in the luggage compartment. This barrier was fairly easy to set up, but it would have been easier with another person. I didn't have to use the two extra side panels that came with my 2017 Nissan Rogue. There is a small gap on each side of the barrier, maybe 4 inches or so, but obviously none of my dogs will be able to get through it. I'm happy with my purchase and glad I didn't buy the fancier $70 version. I didn't notice any rattling while driving like other reviewers have said, but that probably has a lot to do with not using the side panels, so there's really no metal-on-metal potential for noise. I knocked off the star as it's not the strongest but it will certainly stop the dog from leaping forward and if strapped properly around the headrests it won't fall off. I wish there was a way to attach the top of the barrier to the ceiling of the car, but to be honest it wouldn't make much of a difference when this thing does its job. I am happy with my purchase.
