It was relatively easy to install. Two people consult, but I had to do it alone. The only drawback is the middle space between the two front seats. I knew this which is why I bought another product that was fine - a mesh barrier to get through that room. I bought this for my Ford F-150 with the front center seat that folds down. The barrier was easy to install, fitting the full width of the back by attaching to the headrests and using the side panels on the side. This means that the emergency seat in the front seat can only be folded up almost completely, but not locked. Suitable for my needs. I got this because one of my lousy mixes likes to jump forward from his travel box (which has a zip hole at the top) that I keep in the luggage compartment.
